POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y.-The Marist football program announced Wednesday that four seniors have been named as captains for 2006. They are: defensive lineman Tim Aulet (Pomona, N.Y.), safeties Huck Correia (Pittsfield, Mass.) and Nick Salis (Nashua, N.H.) and wide receiver Prince Premeph (Hamilton, N.J.).

Aulet had 36 stops a season ago with nine tackles for loss, including six sacks. He also posted three pass breakups, two forced fumbles and one blocked kick.

Correia was named honorable mention I-AA Mid-Major All-American by the Don Hansen's Weekly Football Gazette and to the All-Mid-Major Defensive Team by CollegeSportsReport.com. He was also a first-team All-MAAC honoree who finished as the team's sixth-leading tackler with 54 tackles to go with one sack, four interceptions, three pass breakups and one blocked kick.

Salis tallied 39 tackles, one tackle for loss, one pass defended, four pass breakups and one forcd fumble.

Prempeh had 27 catches for 361 yards and six touchdowns last season, including the game-winner in the 30-28 season-ending victory over Stony Brook.

The Red Foxes (7-4) tied a school record for wins in a season last year, including a perfect 4-0 record against teams from the Northeast Conference.
